Alasdair Wallace

Alasdair Wallace's art intertwines the surreal with the everyday, creating a captivating realm that is both familiar and disquieting. His intricately crafted etchings explore a landscape filled with curious contrasts and enigmatic figures. Residing in Glasgow, the city he was born in, the city's 'edgelands' serve as a continuous inspiration, where the boundaries between urban life and nature blur. Born in 1967 and a graduate of The Glasgow School of Art, Wallace's artistic journey has led him to develop a unique vision, enriched by humour, mystery, and a subtle touch of pathos.

He has received numerous awards and studied at The Glasgow School of Art from 1987 to 1991.
